Custom software development

When a spreadsheet, a pile of documents or two programs that do not talk to each other take time every day, a program written for that exact sequence of work makes sense.

Inquiry about software

KIS86 builds business software around the steps the firm already has. The aim is not to replace the whole way of working with someone else's product. It is to drop manual retyping, to see the state of a task, and to take reports without collecting them from several places.

Programs and business systems

A program to order has a place when ready-made software either misses the step or forces you to rearrange the work around it. Typical directions are an internal request system, a register, a stock level that matches what you need, or a screen where an office person sees only their own work.

The scope is written down before development. Modules “just in case”, which nobody opens later, are not added.

Admin panels

The panel is where data is entered, states change, and who sees what is limited. A well made panel is dull in the good sense: the fields are clear, what is required is marked, and a mistake shows at once, not at the end of the month.

Documents and reports

Documents and reports are often the real reason for a new system. A quote, a handover record, a list for the period or a report for accounting can be assembled from data already entered. The gain is clearer reporting: the same figure is not copied in three places.

Automation and integrations

Automation takes a repeated step: a transfer to another program, a reminder, a status change, a file in a set place. An integration makes sense when two systems must exchange data without a manual export. If the link is fragile, or the other side has no stable way to exchange, that is said in advance, instead of a promise that “it will connect to everything”.

Examples of possible solutions

The descriptions below are examples of the kind of task that can be solved. They are not presented as projects already completed.

Quantities in a spreadsheet

A firm keeps quantities in a shared file. Every month someone checks by hand what went out. A possible solution is a short register with receipts, issues and a report for the period, open only to the people who work with it.

Requests split between mail and a notebook

The front desk writes calls on paper, and the details stay in mail. A possible solution is a screen with the states “accepted”, “in progress” and “closed”, plus a note, so the history is not hunted in three boxes.

A report from three sources

Before a report, rows are copied from a cash program, a spreadsheet and mail. A possible solution is one report with the agreed columns and period, if the data can be supplied in a clear way. If a source has no output, that question is settled first.

What you gain

  • Less manual copying and checking.
  • Clearer reporting, because the report comes from what was entered, not from memory.
  • Easier management: the stage of the task and who has access are visible.

How we start

A short description is enough: who uses the system, which step repeats, and what must be visible at the end. We work with clients in Razgrad and the region, and remotely with firms in Bulgaria. ЕТ „Кирил Спиридонов“ was registered in 2008. The particular development is quoted for the task, not as a ready box.

Some of the programs are offered free of charge. The available applications, what they are for, and the terms of use are on sws.bg (opens in a new tab).
