Systems and servers
Setup and support of computers and servers
The computer, the operating system and the server are tools. Supporting them means they start in a predictable way, the data has a known place, and restore has an agreed method.
KIS86 sets up and supports work computers, operating systems and servers. That includes the first arrangement of a new machine, a look at an old one that is “already used like this”, and a server that holds files or a program for the whole office.
Computers and operating systems
Setting up a workplace covers users, updates, the programs that are needed, and the disk not being the only copy of an important file. Later support is by agreement: what is looked at, how often, and how a problem is reported. It is not promised that every machine will run without a stop.
If a single workstation holds the accounting or stock program, that risk is stated clearly. A move or a backup is planned before the disk fails. It is not promised afterwards.
Servers
A server makes sense when several people use the same files, program or service. Setup includes where it stands, who logs in, how it is updated, and what happens if the power or the disk stops. A small office often does not need a heavy scheme. The proposal follows the number of people and the cost of downtime, not fashion.
Remote support is possible when access is agreed. A visit in Razgrad and the region is scheduled in advance. Physical service in every city is not promised.
Backup and restore
A backup is useful only if it is clear what is copied, how often, where it is kept, and whether restore has been tried. A copy on the same device does not save a failed disk. A copy nobody has opened may turn out incomplete.
We do not promise absolute security, restoration of any data, or uninterrupted work. The result depends on the agreed scope, the state of the equipment, and whether the copy covers exactly what was lost. Support without written terms is not assumed.
What to describe in the inquiry
- How many computers, and whether there is a separate server.
- Which program or folder is critical if it stops.
- Whether a backup already exists, and whether anyone knows how to return from it.
- Whether the problem is urgent, or this is about putting things in order.
For clients outside Razgrad and the region, settings that can be done remotely are done remotely. ЕТ „Кирил Спиридонов“ was registered in 2008. The particular support is agreed for this system, not as a general subscription “for everything”.
